As a growing oil producer and explorer in the Perth Basin, Triangle Energy is committed to operating in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.

We aim to identify and effectively manage environmental impacts (potential and actual) associated with our activities.

Initiatives and programs are implemented to reduce the environmental impact of operations and protect, manage and, where appropriate, enhance biodiversity values.

Triangle assesses the environmental and potential impacts of all activities and regularly engages with relevant stakeholders, including landholders, local community members and local and state government agencies, to ensure these activities are open and transparent.

Similar to health and safety incidents, all environmental incidents and near misses are recorded and reported through the Triangle incident reporting system.

Triangle Energy’s operations are regulated by the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DMIRS), the National Offshore Petroleum  Safety and Environmental Management Authority (NOPSEMA), Department of Water and Environment Regulation (DWER)and, where required, the Environmental Protection Authority. We have ongoing audit programs in place to ensure compliance with our statutory approvals.
